Facilities Master Plan

The Castro Valley Unified School District takes pride in providing all students at each of our 15 schools with a quality education that prepares them for success in the 21st-century workforce. Over the past year, our District has undertaken a comprehensive facilities master planning process focused on community engagement to determine facilities needs at each of our schools.

At the February 25, 2016 Board Meeting, the Board of Education approved the Castro Valley Unified School District Facilities Master Plan (FMP). The Facilities Master Plan is a comprehensive plan identifying facility needs at all sites.  The complete Facilities Master Plan is available here. After considering other potential available funds, there is a need for $123 million to address the identified facility needs. The list of needs include improvements related to health and safety, heating and air conditioning, roofs, lighting, fields, playgrounds in addition to the expansion and upgrades  of multi-purpose rooms, classrooms, and improved access for the general community.

Please feel free to contact the district for more information.
