Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)

The CVUSD Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a guiding document developed through collaborative efforts between the District and the Community to ensure the best use of our resources to achieve the highest student learning possible over the next three years. The LCAP was approved by the Board of Trustees on June 11, 2015 and details the district's goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support student learning centering on four areas:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Facilities, Materials, and Highly Qualified Staff
  • Parent Involvement
  • Student Engagement

The LCAP was developed through the input and support of community stakeholders at a variety of Community Input Evenings, as well as through students and staff in Focus Groups, Leadership meetings, and Classified and Certificated Association Meet and Confer sessions. An LCAP Advisory Committee, the majority of whom were parents, also supported and guided this process.

Questions about the LCAP can be addressed to Mary Boyle, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services at
