CA Distinguished Schools

Three Castro Valley schools have been selected as 2008 California Distinguished Schools.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell today announced that 343 exemplary California public elementary schools from 189 districts in 39 counties have been selected as 2008 California Distinguished Schools. In Castro Valley three elementary schools were selected: Jensen Ranch, Palomares, and Stanton. Vannoy also received Honorable Mention. Read the State Superintendent's news release.
