Five Schools Named as Honor Roll Schools

The California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) recently named Independent, Jensen Ranch, Palomares, Proctor, and Vannoy as 2009 Honor Roll Schools for their outstanding success in raising student academic achievement. The five Castro Valley schools are among the 909 California schools recognized as Scholar Schools, which are schools showing significant academic achievement levels but do not have a significant socioeconomically disadvantaged student population.
