School Board member Jo Loss to be installed as president of State PTA
The Castro Valley Unified School District is proud and honored to recognize long-time School Board member Jo Loss, who will be installed as the new president of the California State Parent Teachers Association (PTA). Mrs. Loss will be installed as the California State PTA president on Sunday, May 3rd at the annual State PTA convention in San Jose.
The Castro Valley Unified School District is proud and honored to recognize long-time School Board member Jo Loss, who will be installed as the new president of the California State Parent Teachers Association (PTA). Mrs. Loss will be installed as the California State PTA president on Sunday, May 3rd at the annual State PTA convention in San Jose.
In her two-year term as California State PTA president, Mrs. Loss will lead an organization of nearly 1 million members throughout the state who work on behalf of public schools, children and families, with the motto, "Every child, one voice." The PTA is the nation's oldest, largest and highest profile volunteer organization working to improve the education, health and welfare of all children and youth. The PTA also advocates at national, state and local levels for education and family issues.
