Title I Academic Award for CVE
Castro Valley Elementary was named as a 2007/2008 Title I Academic Achievement Award winner by State Superintendent Jack O'Connell.
The Title I Academic Achievement Award program recognizes schools receiving federal Title I funds that have made significant progress toward proficiency on California's academic content standards. State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jack O'Connell said, the awarded schools have "created high-quality, active learning environments where the achievement gap is closing and where all students are progressing."
