Happy Friday Palomares!

Now that we have acknowledged all of our Star Students for the year, we took time out to say a big Thank You to our wonderful librarian, Jennifer Bremer. Jennifer has not only "run" the library for the past five years, but she has made the library, and it's associated activities, a core part of our students scholastic lives. She has read to them, she has sourced books based on their individual preferences, she as taught them how to type, she has taught them how to create power point presentations, she has created engaging and fun Book Fairs, and she has cared deeply about our school and all of our students. You will be missed Mrs. Bremer!

Mrs. Pipkins also made the following announcements and reminders:

• Next Friday, May 18th is our Science Expo - Parent Volunteers are still needed in all areas.
• Science Expo Parking needs to be in the large grass field farther down on the same side of Palo Verde.
• No parking in the school lot on the day of the Science Expo. Lining up for drop off and pickup is fine.
