Castro Valley Center for the Arts
The Castro Valley Center for the Arts (CFA) is a state-of-the-art venue, featuring the 514-seat Erma & Owen Smith Theatre and an Exhibition Hall with seating for up to 75. The Smith Theater offers modern theatrical equipment, including Broadway-level sound and lighting systems. A new HD long throw projector is available on the main stage, perfect for high-quality, vibrant presentations and movies. The main stage is equipped with a sprung dance floor, perfect for dance recitals and theatrical productions.
The CFA features a spacious lobby, two well-lit dressing rooms, a 1,700 square foot green room, and easy access for backstage loading and unloading. We have partnered with VBO Tickes to provide a full-service box office, including on-site and online ticketing at an affordable price.
