Revised 2024-2025 Instructional Calendar
The Castro Valley School Board approved a revised 2024- 2025 Instructional Calendar at the June 12th Board Meeting. The revised calendar includes the following:
 
The revised calendar includes the following changes that affect elementary schools only:
  1. PreK-5 parent conferences originally scheduled for the week of 9/16 have been moved to the week of 11/18. As a result: 
  2. The PreK-5 minimum days originally scheduled on 9/17-9/19 have been moved to 11/19-11-21. 
  3. The PreK-5 student advisement day (a non-school day for students) originally scheduled on 9/20 has been moved to 11/22. 
The Instructional Calendar remains a negotiable item between the Castro Valley Teachers Association and Castro Valley Unified School District. The goal for developing the instructional includes supporting student learning and intermittent breaks throughout the year.
