Google Classroom for Families Update & Resources

Thank you for your interest in attending the Google Classroom for Families webinar. Due to the high demand,  we have added a session on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. We have also increased the number of participants allowed on Zoom for both events.

CVUSD Revised 2020-2021 Instructional Calendar

In order to provide the opportunity for our teachers and staff to receive additional training to prepare for school in the fall, CVUSD's instructional calendar has been modified as follows:

Staff Professional Development/Work Day: August , 10th, 11th and 12th
Start of school: August 13th

This change does not impact the number of instructional days for students or the last day of school. Students will still have 180 days of instruction. We have simply adjusted instructional days within the calendar. Students were to have non instructional days on January 15, 2021 and March 31, 2021, but with the modified calendar, they will now be in school those two days. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we continue to finalize plans for instruction in the fall. Stay tuned, be well and stay safe.

Congratulations to the CVUSD Retirees!!!

Congratulations on your retirement! The District is sorry we couldn’t celebrate all retirees at the annual retirement celebration, but made a slideshow in their honor!

Thank you, to all the retirees for your years of service and dedication to the students and community of Castro Valley. We wish you the best on your new journey.

All CVUSD School Site Facilities will be Closed Monday, June 1st

Dear CVUSD Families,

Due to the unrest in various communities, all staff are working from home tomorrow and our facilities are closed. If you were planning on picking up your student's diploma or dropping materials off at school, please look for an email from your school Principal to let you know when you will be able to do so this week. Take care.

Best regards,
Parvin Ahmadi
Superintendent
