Enrollment & Registration

Welcome to the
Castro Valley Unified School District
2020-2021 New Student Enrollment Information
(Current School Year)
All students that are first attending a CVUSD school, including those that currently have siblings enrolled in CVUSD, are required to complete an online enrollment process.  Families do not need to complete this step for any student that is currently enrolled and plans on continuing in CVUSD next year.

**Due to social distancing requirements, all appointments to confirm enrollment will be made virtually. After you complete initial online enrollment, school personnel (district personnel during the summer) will reach out to you to complete additional steps via email. We thank you for your patience during this process and if you have any questions, please email Ms. Annette Burt (aburt@cv.k12.ca.us).

All new and returning CVUSD students will need to complete registration prior to the start of the school year. Listed below are the details about our virtual process.  Registration will include the completion of two steps in two different systems.  These systems opened on Monday, August 3rd, 2020 to start the registration process.

Step 1:  Data Confirmation and Authorization

This will be completed in Aeries through your Parent Portal Accounts

Step 2:  Document Submission and Acknowledgements

This will be completed in the new School Mint system (castrovalley.schoolmint.net).  You will receive an email on or after August 3, 2020 with information on how to access School Mint. If you have not received an email from School Mint, please click here to access the CVUSD School Mint Re-Enrollment Procedure document. If you have any questions during this process, please reach out to your school site.
