Suicide Prevention

Castro Valley Unified School District is committed to supporting people in distress, providing prevention and crisis resources. We can all help to prevent suicide. Together we can spread the message that “You are not alone” and help anyone affected by mental illness get the care they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. CVUSD's Anonymous Student Support Tip Line: 510-340-9763
 
Students, parents, staff, and/or community members are encouraged to call or text the student support tip line to help keep our students and staff safe. All tips are passed along to administrative or counseling staff for follow up. 
 
The tip line is monitored by Student Services Staff at the District Office from 8am to 4:30pm on school days. If you believe a friend or student is suicidal or in immediate danger, please contact 9-1-1 immediately.
